The Minister of Transport visits the complex of Hajj and Umrah halls in Matarjada
The Minister of Transport and the head of the General
Authority for Civil Aviation, in charge of Suleiman Al-Hamdan, inspected
yesterday the complex of Hajj and Umrah halls at King Abdul Aziz Airport in

The tour included the 14 halls of the complex and some vital
supporting facilities in the compound to closely monitor the preparations for
receiving the pilgrims to facilitate the movement of their arrival with ease
and tranquility. He listened to an explanation from the director of Hajj and
Umrah affairs at the airport Khalid Al-Harbi on how to implement the Hajj plan
for this year in the reception of pilgrims in coordination with the actors
operating at the airport and the standards that have been applied to reduce the
termination of their procedures to 30 minutes. He briefed him on the plan by
which the compound's halls will be set up to be placed in the departure halls
and will be converted into departure lounges upon return to increase capacity.
In the hall he received some pilgrims who came on a Saudi trip from Dhaka and
gave them congratulations and gifts.
He stressed that the directives of the wise leadership
provide for exerting efforts, mobilizing energies and providing the means in
order to enable the guests of the Rahman to perform their duties at ease and to
improve their services and to provide maximum care and care for them since
their arrival and until they leave their homes.
